Dr. Cizadlo is AMAZING!!!

Dr. C is absolutely amazing!! I just completed my BSN in nursing, and passed my RN exam. I wasn't a "science guy" before starting my prerequisites...BUT, I found Dr. C's podcasts, downloaded ALL the Anatomy & Physiology lectures, then, ALL the Pathophysiology lectures...and listened to them multiple times. And like you mention at the end of your post above, GET OUT of the house...I took walks...listening to them, put them on and listened at bedtime, or while doing chores, etc. The best thing about Dr. C is his way of making you UNDERSTAND the material...he's big on that...memorization is useless. I do some tutoring, and find my pupils raving about how I explain things, and I am always quick to admit that it is because of Dr. C's lectures...and the way HE explained it...CANNOT thank him enough...he got me to where i am today...an RN with a very solid understanding of what goes on in the body...and a curiosity to keep learning. Dr. C...you are THE MAN.

Top notch

I just want to make it clear that you don't need a biomedical background to get a lot out of these lectures. I have very little biology education but if you start at the beginning and work your way through, Dr. Cizadlo is so thorough and uses such apt analogies that you will greatly enrich your understanding of physiology. The one caveat: since it is also about anatomy but only comes with the audio, you'd get the most out of it by having an anatomy atlas handy while you listen.

Great lectures

I listen to Dr Cizadlo's podcasts in Australia. He is a first class lecturer and I always learn new things from his lectures.

Dr Cizadlo single handedly made the ridiculous amount of money I paid to Scholastica worth while.

Excellent resource

Dr. Cizadlo doesn't just lecture, he teaches you to think and puts things into words and concepts which help you understand things that you thought you knew but never were quite clear about. He has helped me, an experienced nurse of 15 years, to renew my knowledge base and think about everything. Cannot recommend highly enough.
