Recording marred by poor sound quality, November 15, 2010

I bought and downloaded this audio book from this site because it was cheap. Unfortunately, in this case, I got what I paid for. The narrator doesn't seem to have much lung capacity, so his voice drifts down to NOTHING at the end of each sentence. Sometimes you only hear the stressed syllables of words. I had to turn the bass way down and the treble way up, and the volume up-up-up and still could not make out half of it. It was terrible and annoying. Do not buy this audiobook.

Listening to this title leaves one feeling a bit uneasy. Even the mere mention of pedophilia raises eyebrows. However, I would like to believe that Achenbach's fantasies may have more to do with a yearning for eternal youth rather than an obstruction of social mores.
