This podcast is Plato's account of the defense his teacher, Socrates, gave when he was presented in court for charges of spreading ideas that went against the norms of the society. It is narrated by Dawn Keenan.

The podcast was very enlightening for me as I found out that Socrates' philosophy, like all other revolutionary thinkers throughout history contained an element of the search for truth. Plato's account is very effectively conveyed and describes how Socrates went step-by-step in the court, at 70 years of age, to convey to the judges the situation he was in, mainly telling them that the charges on him are those that were fed to them while they were children; false truths they never questioned and put in a way with words that they use as ornaments without knowing the full truth.

The narration is in a formal tone, clear and precise, without much of an emotional element to it; a form that I found to be extremely effective tool for recounting as a third person.

I recommend this podcast to every thinker.
