There are many examples, throughout history, of individuals who achieved liberation from suffering, Siddartha Gautama, known as the Buddha, being only one of them.
How did they do it and what can we learn from their teachings that's applicable to our lives? How can we stay connected to the present, here and now, where change is possible, in a world where so many distracting stimuli compete for our attention? Are our emotions at fault and should we practice detachment, in order to reduce or eliminate suffering? Is the human condition really ever pain free?
These, and many other questions, lay the common ground for our explorations into the ancient and ever modern dilemma about suffering and the end of suffering.
