Thought Vibration

Thought Vibration

Or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World

by William Atkinson

LearnOutLoud.com is excited to present William Walker Atkinson's Thought Vibration, or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World. With recent interest in New Thought principles at an all time high (such as the Law of Attraction that is the basis for the movie and the book The Secret), we thought it timely to present this cornerstone of the New Thought Movement.

As Atkinson states through this book, the Law of Attraction posits that one should never dwell on the negative, as the "metaphysical principle of life" is embodied in a "law of attraction". In other words, you get what you think about and your thoughts determine your destiny.

Throughout the book, Atkinson gives a detailed examination of how to put this philosophy to practice, giving the reader encouragement as they go along. LearnOutLoud is pleased to bring this book to you in audio form, both as a historical document and a great way to inspire success.

Excellent Book - Distracting Narration, April 30, 2010
Reviewer: naplesdave from Naples, Florida

The book is SO good - make sure you get the paper copy, too. But David's narration is so poor it is sad. Still, you'll get something out of it.

David has a good voice for narration, but mispronounces many big words, such as omnipotent, sectarian, and even Dr. Freud.

But the thing that will hurt your brain the most is that the subject titles and the paragraphs are all run together - without so much as a pause - so you think David is still talking about the former story when he's really into the next subject. Toward the end, you're smiling because you know he's rushing it - not sure why - we're not going anywhere.

Excellent content that has stood the test of time.

Kind regards,

An "in your face" tour-de-force!, March 09, 2010
Reviewer: mikegreer

This audio is flat out amazing! It's a powerful, intelligent reading of all 16 Chapters of William Walker Atkinson's work. I originally downloaded this out of idle curiosity -- to learn a bit about the roots of The Law of Attraction. But the crispness and vigor of Atkinson's writing -- the clean, direct expression and force of his ideas -- are beautifully and energetically rendered by narrator David Mitchell. This no soothing, sleepy, new-age audio -- it's an "in your face" tour-de-force that will challenge you to rethink what you believe about the way you think. And if you think you know all about The Law of Attraction, then this work is likely to surprise you with some new content and a sometimes edgy attitude. I loved it!

FYI: I'm a writer and a podcaster myself (provided many free titles here on LearnOutLoud -- see Michael Greer). And this is one of those powerful productions that raise the bar for all authors and speakers, challenging us to create with similar quality and vigor. Well done!

I really enjoyed and feel educated after listening to Thought Vibration. David Mitchell's narration is excellent - I felt that as if I was listening to the author.

Thanks to David and LearnOutLoud.com for offering this great work to the listener.

I highly recommend to a listener, who wants to bring a change to his/her thinking habits.

Well worth the time, February 15, 2010

William Atkinson takes a no-nonsense approach to positive thinking. Thought Vibration presents New Thought material in a "tough love" style that doesn't come across as harsh, but rather motivating and inspiring. David Mitchell does a superb job not just reading the text, but displays his understanding with passionate inflections that add to the experience and will make you laugh. I highly recommend listening to this perspective-changing book that will wake you up as if you’ve just been thrown into an ice cold river.
