Wow... I'm not even sure where to begin. This book changes the lives of the people who read it, but the funny thing is I believe everyone’s life is changed differently.
This wonderful creation challenges you to be the better version of who you already are. This book illustrates another person's inner struggle with life and shows its readers that obstacles can be over come. It's extremely motivating. Inspirational. Joyous.
A must read... eerrrrr... a must listen :-)

I figured now would be a good time to tell the story of how I found this book, and how it changed my life. Years ago, I first got into spirituality and all that good stuff when I read Conversations With God by Neale Donald Walsch. That book sparked the flame, and I was seeking more answers. My friend had been boasting about Way of the Peaceful Warrior, and left a copy in my car one day, inviting me to bring it inside and read it. However, before the movie came out, the cover was really cheesy (in my teenage eyes), and i didn't want anything to do with that guys silhouette on the front cover.
As the days went by, the book was shoved and thrown around the car, and eventually made its way to the floor, where it was used as a car mat-- absorbing many spills.
After a moderate amount of abuse, the cover and first couple copy write pages were torn off, and revealed the first page. I decided to pick it up and see what it said, and was immediately hooked. I was sucked into Dan's enchanted world of men leaping over gas stations, and felt I had found the wise teacher I was looking for.
Dan places an emphasis on practicality and wants to make sure you can take the wisdom from his books and use it in every day life. And Way of the peaceful warrior is just that. An enchanting, addictive story, followed by a calling to "show up" for your own enchanted life. The book will invite you to take responsibility for your own happiness. And once you do, your life will bring you things you never thought possible. Intrigued? Do yourself a favor and check this one out.
This book stretched my ideas of what I thought was possible in life, and for myself. And it delivers just what it claims: it will change your life in ways you never thought possible. Since reading this book several years ago, I have never stopped my desire to joyfully learn and grow, and now act as if I can do anything. And that is what has made all the difference.

"Wake up! If you knew for certain you had a terminal illness--if you had little time left to live--you would waste precious little of it! Well, I'm telling you...you do have a terminal illness: It's called birth. You don't have more than a few years left. No one does! So be happy now, without reason--or you will never be at all."

The best part of this book is the title.What a lovely idea-to be a warrior for peace.This book just doesn't deliver.It has a hollow philosophy: be nice and everything will turn out fine. Lots of fantasy and bogus medicine.Sorry you'll have to try harder than this.
