LearnOutLoud.com Review
Download this free 30-minute audio documentary on the city of Oak Ridge, Tennessee also known as Atomic City, USA. In the 1940s this town served as the top secret base for the Manhattan Project that developed the atomic bomb. This documentary recorded in February 25, 1950 interviews everyday residents and city officials about the town. It then goes into the military facilities and interviews military personnel about their many different jobs. This 1950s audio documentary is an interesting look into our Cold War past.
