As a comedian and comedy writer, my objective is to create the funniest comedy possible and give the audience the most pleasant listening experience.
I want everyone who spends their valuable time listening to a production of mine, to come away feeling refreshed and knowing it was time well spent.
I have always loved satire and parody. As a child, I treasured my MAD Magazines and, in the early days, I never missed a Saturday Night Live show. I believe satire is the clearest lens from which to view reality.
I use satire and parody to lampoon a wide range of topics, from cultural themes, fads, sex, religion, race, drugs, economic, social and political issues, to pointless humor, for humor's sake. You name it and I'll lampoon it.
For me, there is no substitute for well engineered comedy. I strive to produce well constructed, cleverly crafted, rich in substance, comedy productions that can stand on their own.
My approach to comedy writing is simple. I start with controversial subjects, of varying degrees. Then I lay out the main points and work and rework them over and over again. Each time I'm adding more humor and subtracting the rest, until all that remains, is pure funny.
I do all of the voice over work on my audio productions, which amounts to nearly 60 different voices. This ability gives me complete control over timing, style and emphasis, therefore, the comedy is delivered precisely, as I intented.
