Pimsleur Language Learning Programs are published by Simon & Schuster Audio covering over 50 different languages in over 200 different programs. Almost all of their programs are available on cassette & CD and many of their courses are available on MP3 download right now through LearnOutLoud.com. The Pimsleur Method developed by Dr. Paul Pimsleur is much more than a simple listen & repeat language learning process. Dr. Pimsleur developed a method of language learning which continually reintegrates all that you've learned so you must draw from your memory at regular intervals to actively retain the language. In each lesson you actually converse out loud with speakers of the language as they aid you in what to say and teach you new vocabulary.

Many of the Comprehensive Language Programs are available in levels I, II, & III for varying degrees of skill. Pimsleur has also published 35 English as a Second Language Programs in both their Quick & Simple series and their Comprehensive programs for speakers in over 15 languages.
