Here's a sparkling example of how packaging and content organization can make an audio lesson grab a listener's attention and improve his or her life. Though a short lesson like this could have been packaged like most single-CD programs, this one comes in a three-fold easy-to-access case with chapter descriptions that leave no doubt about what is on each track. The author/publisher also describes the supporting resources available on her company's Web site. Her down-to-earth suggestions are grouped intuitively into chapters like "Voice," "Key Messages," "Practice Talking about Yourself," "Clothes Count," "Feed the Brain," and "Use Names." The perky author, talking rapidly, compensates for her high-pitched voice with her energy, creative ideas, and desire to be helpful. T.W. © AudioFile 2008, Portland, Maine [Published: MAY 2008]
