Wide Open for Interpretation

I gave this play a very careful listen and I think the audio performances and sound effects are done very well. In the end I thought the play was silly, repetitive, and quite dismal. Beckett throws handfuls of clues at us, while providing us with nothing to solve. Even if it's fun to try to decipher what the characters and minimal objects ultimately represent, listening to the play can be a frustrating experience.
