As Wright explains in an early episode, his dream has always been to find a way to tell the entire epic, and with this podcast, heвЂ™s found the perfect vehicle to offer up his long form take, drawing from his deep knowledge of historical and mythological sources. The final package is an entertaining reinterpretation of what may be the most famous war story ever, starting with Mount Olympus, moving to the plains of Troy, and examining everyone from Achilles to Helen to Hector in a fresh, irreverent style. Wright also takes time at the end of each episode to make his own comments on the stories from a historical and educational perspective. Great fun, and a must for Greek mythology buffs!
