This PBS documentary swiftly covers the terrifying history of the nuclear bomb from its creation during the height of World War II through the most dangerous days of the Cold War and up to the looming shadow it casts over our contemporary World. The documentary concludes with examining the state of nuclear weapons in the 21st century and the dangers they still pose to civilization.
