Description
How does faith inform public debates on social justice in American politics? How should religious leaders and politicians engage the political process while maintaining their moral witness? For the past three years Rev. Jim Wallis, founder of Sojourners, taught a course at Georgetown University that addresses these questions. He guided the class through series of discussions about poverty, immigration, war and peace, climate change, economics, and media. To help frame the issues, Rev. Wallis also invited prominent public figures to speak in his class. This collection includes audio and video from all guest lectures that occurred between 2010 and 2012.
