Leo Laporte's KFI's Tech Guy podcast is an edited version of his live radio show on KFI 640 AM. The podcast is defined as a 'tech gaia' - which basically means a living core that is the mother of all technology broadcasts. Leo talks about the changing technologies of the times, the ubiquitous technologies including - computers, the Internet (the latest craze which includes blogging), cameras, cellphones, home entertainment systems, and everything in-between and at the periphree! Leo is also open to comments and suggestions, and openly asks for them on his show.
In the latest podcast, he talks about MSN myspaces.com, which is a blogging site. He tells how it supports 27 million users, with all accounts free, and revenue coming only from the advertisements. He basically includes everything about technology and relating to technology (including the economics that sustain it).
As Laporte is a professional radio jockey and has scores of knowledge about broadcasting, you can easily expect his podcasts to be of great quality, with an even greater voice! This is like any other radio show that you can listen to for passing time and gaining information about the tech world at the same time.
