The Pulse of the Planet podcast is a very short two-minute broadcast that attempts to bring listeners a taste of some of the wonderful sounds that surround us in nature. The podcast is hosted by Jim Metzner, and he does a fantastic job of introducing the topic and explaining what kind of sounds we are going to hear and where we can find those sounds in the natural world.
I think this podcast is very good. It's a neat concept and is executed extremely well. I enjoyed listening to sounds that I probably would never encounter on my own, such as certain insects, hurricane-force winds, and the sheep of the Navajo. All in all, I think you should give this podcast a try.
