We'll start out with J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings BBC Radio dramatization. Originally broadcast in 1981 and remastered in 2002 this dramatization features British actors including Ian Holm, William Nighy, John Le Mesurier, and many other renowned thespians along with an original musical score by composer Stephen Oliver. Enter Tolkien's fantastical world of Middle-earth combined with the craft of BBC Radio's dramatizations:
