Crowded World

The world has exponentially grown in terms of population post the industrial revolution period. There has been immense use of technology for bettering the lives of millions and at the same time, tremendous damage to the nature in realizing humanity’s aspirations and needs. Global warming has been threatening the human race since a couple of decades and little has been done to prevent it, so far. The population stabilization, although taken up strongly by most nations, still remains a farfetched goal. On the human development side, the grass isn’t green either. The wealth divide between the rich and poor has been constantly rising, even in fast developing economies. Sachs has given a novel agenda which utilizes resources efficiently and promises to save millions of lives in a tiny budget. The need of the hour, however, is to coordinate with member nations of the world and combat these issues hand in hand. This video must be watched for all those debating about possible futures of the world as it is right now.
