A Superb Translation & Narration from Seamus Heaney
Reviewer LOLDavid

This epic tale is well delivered by the Nobel Prize winning poet Seamus Heaney. He captures all the gritty details of the Early Middle Ages, and his narration adds a lot to this audio book. His words paint an amazing picture of the Anglo-Saxon times and the heroic battle Beowulf & Grendel (and Grendel's mother). After 1000 years it's still quite a story and this is a great way to listen to it.
