Decent, but at least pronounce the author's name correctly...

I agree the narrator is a little over the top (sounds as if he is in a state of constant amazement, which quickly gets old) and his evenly-paced phrasing make the reading feel more like a fairytale or docudrama. But his voice has a pleasing tonal quality that helps compensate. The effect is more palatable if you keep in mind that Ayn wrote her books to illustrate concepts.
As for the title of my review post, I urge audio publishers and narrators, in their assumed position of authority, to take responsibility for pronouncing authors' names correctly. "Ayn" should be spoken with a long "i", as in "mine."
Despite these quibbles, the book is decently presented. I appreciate ThoughtAudio making this reading available. And one request: I would appreciate being able to download a single mp3 file rather than 27 segments. Thanks!
