NPR: StoryCorps Podcast

The StoryCorps Podcast features Americans across the country telling their own stories as they are interviewed by family and friends. The StoryCorps organization was established in the hopes of creating an oral history through the tens of thousands of interviews that are conducted in their StoryBooths everyday. Stories currently featured on the podcast include a father's finding forgiveness for the murderer of his daugther, a collector of over one million objects discussing his strange collections, a survivor of tragic plane crash speaking on how she lives her life since the crash, and many more engrossing stories. The stories are typically only 2-3 minutes in length so they're a great way to learn about the variety of American life in a short period of time.
