Frederick Jackson Turner Audio
Frederick Jackson Turner [1861-1932] was an American historian. He began his studies [A.B./M.A.] at the University of Wisconsin and completed his Ph.D at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Turner taught for twenty years at the University of Wisconsin and subsequently at Harvard. He is remembered in contemporary historiography for his "Frontier Thesis."
