Houghton Mifflin

Houghton Mifflin, since 1832, is a publisher of fiction and non-fiction books, trade books, poetry, reference books, textbooks and other educational books as well as books for kids and teens and picture books. Houghton Mifflin features more than 50 audio books including titles by authors such as: J.R.R Tolkien, Philip Roth and Penelope Fitzgerald. Houghton Mifflin also publishes “The Best American Series” including audio editions of The Best American Mystery Stories, The Best American Short Stories, The Best American Essays of the Century and The Best American Travel Writing, to name a few. Titles in the “Best American Series” are narrated by notable authors, actors, poets, filmmakers and award winners such as: Joyce Carol Oates, Viggo Mortensen, John Updike and Zadie Smith.
