 Wild Economics
In this lecture from Princeton''s University Channel, economist and author of Freakonomics Steven D. Levitt lectures on his unique methods of economic research.

Through entertaining stories Levitt discusses the economics of prostitution, whether or not people are generally altruistic, and many other interesting topics. This lecture was recorded at Princeton University and is available on streaming video from the University Channel.

As always, "the book was better.", March 25, 2007

It's great to see the author and hear his background, and a few more stories. Fun to hear how only one business person ever followed his advice. Interesting to hear how experiments had to be changed to get realistic answers out of studies of altruism. Makes me want to read more of his stuff. Freakonomics is an overly self-important title his publisher probably sold him on, but he does really good analyses. So go ahead and read his book.
