E-Auction-Air Review, March 13, 2006
Reviewer: soloang
I found this podcast to be very informative and more inclusive of e-commerce than the name might allow.
Sound quality and production is very good, good pacing and I didn't mind the radio feel of the introduction to each segment.
Not the usual rah-rah "get rich quick" approach; rather a critical and knowledgeable view of selling and buying on-line that I believe those so inclined will find most rewarding.

E-Auction-Air Show 08-28-05 Part 1
Michael Donahue begins by delivering some newsy items with a personal flair and some humor. He opens with warm thoughts for New Orleans residents facing Hurricane Katrina, gives a promotion for a J-Lo VIP pass contest at Overstock.com, then launches into an analysis of eBay's new cross-promotion program. He also warns listeners about the dangerously high threat of fraud at the Qchex site.
The podcast begins ponderously, sounding a lot like a DJ at a radio station. As it continues, it provides valuable information (albeit a little lengthy) but with the flavor of a friend talking to another friend. It finishes with an advertisement, completing the feel of a radio broadcast.
The podcast receives a rating of 3. While it covers some interesting material, it seems to be all over the map without any direction or scope. It could have been a lot better if it was shorter and more scripted. However, if you want some good information, you have the time, and you don't like the hurried or staccato delivery of scripted podcasts, you will enjoy this. It might be good, particularly for the ride home after a long day at work.

Yet another example of a hijacker, this time in Britain, stealing eBay accounts by simply cracking stupid, easily guessed passwords. While eBay ignores such simple steps as qualifying passwords as to difficulty before allowing their use, isn’t it about time you took the time to make the hijacker’s job just a little more difficult?
