The Spirit of Things podcast by Rachael Kohn is the podcast of the program with the same name aired on Australia's ABC radio national, which can be found at www.abc.au/rn. The podcast starts with a song inspired by nature, which is sung melodiously. The podcast is an adventure into spirituality and religion, and how it is related to culture, art, music, rituals, and sacred texts.
The podcast contains interviews with people who have either been studying these topics for a long time, or generally have been affected by their faith during troubled times. It is not restricted to any specific religion, but draws powers from every religion and faith, and the underlying sense of communal harmony that is essential to bring about in today's world of destruction, greed, and power.
Rachael has a very clear voice, and the interviews are held face-to-face, which makes this podcast stand out from those that carry their interviews on the phone, making it difficult to understand the speaker. The only drawback that I found with this podcast is that the total volume of the podcast is a bit lower than it should be.

Atheists and Believers have different abilities to feel and express their emotions according to a new Canadian study by Psychologists Raluca Petrican of Rotman Research Institute, Toronto and Chris Burris of St. Jerome's University, Waterloo, Ontario. Atheists are more left-brained while Believers are more right-brained, and the latter exhibit alexi-thymia more than the former. Award winning poet and former psychiatric nurse, Sally Read, found it hard to put her conversion experience into words when she turned from hardline atheist to believing Catholic.

The Bible is rife with sex, and right from the beginning it is introduced as part of the human condition. Michael Coogan is one of the leading Biblical scholars in the US, and in his book God and Sex: What the Bible Really Says, he reveals all, including whether David loved Jonathan in that way.
