The Recovery Podcast focuses on the process of recovering from addictions through the discussion of news and topics relating to that topic. Several past podcasts were comprised of guided meditations that encourage peace, serenity, and a connection with a Higher Power.
One of the podcasts I reviewed was on the topic of making amends which is one of the primary tools so vital in the process of 12 step recovery. The host shared several personal anecdotes related to this theme. I’m interested in the recovery process so I found this podcast very inspirational. The quality of the podcast was good though there was a bit of minimal background noise. It wasn’t distracting from the useful information presented by the host, however, and I would really recommend this podcast for anyone working on recovery issues.

The Recovery podcast is a weekly podcast by www.recoverypodcast.com that focuses on helping addicts recover. It starts with a soothing piece of music. It deals with topics such as shame and joy, which need to be defined appropriately. The podcast talks about building a solid foundation to stand on, and how to heal the planet. Some episodes focus on meditation for peace and serenity. The podcast is built upon the 12 step recovery program. It explains how religion hampers the recovery progress by telling people about penance for their evil acts. The podcast is an excellent source for helping people out of their addictions when everyone is constantly berating them and are without any hint of forgiveness.
The sound quality can be improved slightly by reducing the slight static, but it doesn't make the narration and listening to it difficult in any way. I found this podcast to be excellent!
