Personal finance guru Suze Orman joins PBS talk show host Tavis Smiley and activist/academic Cornel West to discuss a new monetary method Orman has created to tackle the growing problem of poverty in America. For over 30 years, Orman has seen the rich get richer, and the distinction between the middle class and the poor dissolve. To address the growing crisis, Orman has decided to take on the old ways in which money is judged and how it provides -- from FICO scoring to the fees that are being charged -- opening up a pre-paid card method that may help many Americans climb out of inescapable poverty. SheвЂ™s joined by West and Smiley, two long-time advocates in the fight against poverty, which they see as a dire threat to the future of American democracy itself.
