A Time for Choices Podcast is a weekly podcast hosted by Michael Toms. Toms does a fantastic job of asking leading thinkers and creative artists thought provoking questions. The podcast I reviewed included an interview with Debora Hammond, an author and scholar. She and the host discussed new paradigms for living within the globalized society we are now living in. New ways of living in our society are highlighted in an intellectually challenging arena.

Individuals interested in peace and conflict studies and philosophy will find this podcast intriguing. The program will give listeners many referrals for follow-up reading materials to delve into on the topics highlighted.

A Time for Choices is a podcast that discusses current events against the backdrop of the post 9/11 world. The show usually consists of the host interviewing one guest about a specific topic. For example, past episodes have covered such things as personal disarmament and green living.

Overall, I thought this podcast was above average, but not outstanding. The guests were pretty much hit or miss: some of them had interesting things to say, while others were just on the show to peddle their own books. Some of the topics were a bit obscure and difficult to relate to, which also made it hard to stay involved with what was going on. I think this podcast would be good to listen to once in a while, but I wouldn't subscribe to it.

In this podcast Michael Toms interviews top spiritual, political, and ecological thinkers about the state of our planet and where we are going. The interviews are short and to the point and really try to grasp what is happening with the evolving state of global consciousness as a whole. For the most part the outlook is that there's a diminishing egotism that is fading along with all the wars, destruction, and hatred that brings and now we are moving into an era of global awareness, peace, hope, and love. So for the most part it's positive view of our spiritual evolution from some of the best minds out there today.
