American Rhetoric is the Internet's leading resource for free downloadable and streaming audio of historical speeches. They feature over 100 original recordings of the greatest speeches delivered throughout the 20th century to the present day. Most of the speeches are political with multiple speeches by presidents such as John F. Kennedy, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Richard M. Nixon, and Ronald Reagan, along with speeches from orators like Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, and Bono. Their site allows you to stream the speech or download it as an MP3, and also features a complete transcript of the text of the speech.
