1. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Podcast

This edition of Mark Twain's great American novel Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one of the top free audio books on the internet. Here's a great short story you can listen to. It is written by Washington Irving, one of the first acclaimed American authors. 5. Metamorphosis

Franz Kafka's novella is a bonafide 20th century classic about a traveling salesman that wakes up one morning to find his body has been transformed into that of a giant dung beatle.
