On June 28th, 2005 Apple released
iTunes 4.9 which now features a Podcast Directory
with thousands of free podcasts to browse and
already the number of downloads for these podcasts
is in the millions. |

We've launched the LearnOutLoud.com Podcast Directory
which is the ultimate resource for listening to and
downloading free podcasts you can learn from. We've
listened to every podcast featured in the directory to
assure that they have good content and quality
audio. |

I heard a great new phrase recently (while I was
listening to a podcast of course!): "Dead Time
Learning." Dead Time Learning refers to your
ability to learn during times that would normally be
unproductive. |

It had been rumored for months now but even as
this Apple's "...One more thing" event approached
this week most people still weren't sure. Would
Apple finally launch the long-awaited Video iPod? |

Well, we've been working long and hard on it but

Wow, what a year it has been! It's kind of hard to believe that LearnOutLoud wasn't even around a year ago this time (we officially launched back in late January 2005). Less than 12 months later our Catalog has over 10,000 titles, we're getting thousands of visits a day to LearnOutLoud.com and our membership has doubled in the last two months. |

It's hard to believe that we launched LearnOutLoud.com only a year ago. We've been working our tails off here to try to find you the best in audio and video content that's both educational and inspirational. We're really excited about a lot of the things that we have in the works for 2006. |

The download revolution is well under way. Apple has now sold more than 40 million iPods and it seems that you can't look anywhere these days without spotting a pair of those ubiquitous white headphones. One of the common questions that we get here at LearnOutLoud is when we will start selling audio downloads. Our answer? Now. |

A while ago I blogged about my "

For those of you who haven't heard, Dan Millman's
best-selling book Way of the Peaceful Warrior has
been made into a movie (titled "Peaceful Warrior")
and is opening today in select cities around the
United States. I had an opportunity to attend a
preview screening of it a while back and I would
highly (highly!) recommend it. |
